Create a life you LOVE to live.
Effective counseling for teens and adults in Davidson, North Carolina.
Hi, I’m Fallon, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Whether this is your first experience in therapy or you have encountered many healers in your lifetime, stepping into a new counseling relationship takes both bravery and vulnerability. Therapy is about exploring aspects of your life so that you can grow in self-awareness and authenticity, develop more self-compassion, cultivate relationships with people around you, and build the life you want to live. You've already taken the first step toward healing, and I would be honored to walk with you on your journey.
My training is in psychodynamic psychotherapy. In this approach, we explore past experiences and traumas and reflect on how they might impact our relationship with ourselves and others. It offers an opportunity for the relationship between therapist and client to feel reparative, restorative, and safe. When we feel safe, and seen, and held, we are often better able to bring to the surface thoughts and feelings that we might have otherwise contained.
How do I know you’re a good fit for me?
Regardless of what you’re struggling with right now, the best way to know if I can help you and determine if we are a good fit is to make an appointment. I have extensive experience working with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I work with those who may be struggling with life transitions, grief and loss, or stressors from relationships, work, or school. Below you can read about some of the types of mental health issues I treat and the people I work with, but this is not an exhaustive list. If my style of therapy resonates with you, then I feel confident I can help you feel better.

Adolescent Counseling
I love supporting teens in counseling during their high school years. I have experience with teens who may be experiencing school avoidance, peer conflict, substance use, or academic challenges. I work with many neurodivergent youth and can help young people find a balance between the strengths and challenges they experience with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other neurotypes.

LGBTQNIA Youth & Adults
I am a proud and affirming ally for LGBTQNIA youth and adults. I support families with providing documentation for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), court documents, and gender affirmation surgeries and procedures. I can help teens with filling out their Gender Support Plans at school and asking for 504 accommodations. If you are a parent of an LGBTQNIA teen, I will provide validation, feedback and psychoeducation to support you in raising a confident kid.

Parent Guidance
Parents and caregivers are an essential part of the treatment team when I'm working with adolescents and young adults. Sessions focus on building parenting skills, discussing treatment updates and ongoing goals, and offering compassionate feedback, and psychoeducation. I also hold Family Support Training (FST) groups, where parents can learn the same DBT skills their teens are learning in therapy.

Perinatal Counseling
Physical and mental health are inextricably connected, and a woman's/birthing person's emotional functioning may be impacted by unique health issues, such as infertility, miscarriage, labor/birth trauma or perinatal loss. As a trained birth doula and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C), I have enhanced knowledge that informs my clinical care.

Counseling in Motherhood
Post partum depression or anxiety, kids with challenging health needs, spouse conflict, balancing parenting with work stressors, finding or rediscovering your identity... Regardless of what you may be experiencing, motherhood is hard. Especially if you have a history of trauma or attachment wounds. We will explore how early trauma can impact our experience of motherhood.

Veterans & Servicemembers
As an 18-year Navy veteran, I have served on active duty and in the Navy Reserves. My understanding of Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) and first-hand knowledge of military service makes me uniquely poised to serve this population. We will incorporate DBT, Brainspotting, and Performance Psychology to help you improve functioning, whether you are still serving or have retired from service.
